Meet The Chishakwe Management Team

Nick Greeff
is a born and bred Zimbabwean. He grew up on a farm and from an early age loved the bush and everything to do with it.

Nick suffered his teenage years in the Southern town ofBulawayo and was grateful to leave school and start training to be a Professional Guide. He went on to spend many enjoyable years guiding at Spurwing Island which is where he met Sarah.

For her sake he endured some time in England but the experience proved to be “not quite his scene” and it was not too long before he headed back to his beloved bush life.

Sarah Greeff was born and raised on the Isle of Wight in England. She trained as a teacher and proved to be highly creative and gifted in this field. She fell in love with Zimbabwe during a stint as a VSO in the late nineties and back packed around the Southern African countries during the long school holidays learning to love the bush and the game.

While on a safari break at Spurwing Island Sarah met Nick. Sarah was soon to return to England to "commence battle" at a Comprehensive School. Nick followed her and two years later convinced her to follow her heart and return to Africa with him.

Nick and Sarah then spent three years running lodges in the Luangwa Valley and then in the Zambezi Valley before returning to Zimbabwe. It was then that they discovered and joined Chishakwe.

Nick and Sarah make a dynamic team and their passion for and knowledge of conservation form part of the magic that makes any visit to Chishakwe so memorable.
